Title: Study of Mansa Prakruti.
Dr. Kavita V. Indapurkar submitted her dissertation to Pune University
for Ph. D (Sharir Kriya) in 2001. Her guide was Dr. Prof. J.K. Borde. Research
center was Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune.
Dr. Indapurkar has done her doctoral research on
psychological constitution by conducting two projects in project one.
500 individuals from age
group 60-70 were examined and compaired with their aging process.
After analyzing data it is
seen that sattva, raja and tama in physiological
constitution definitely affects the aging process. Tama (vegative attitude)
accelerates the aging process.
In
project two 120 students were volunteers. Their psychological constitution were
examined and compaired with marks obtained by them in 1st year final
exam.
After analyzing data it was
seen that sattva dominance
(Knowledge gaining) and
positive attitude directly affects the performance in examination. Raja (hyper
activity) and Tama (Egnoranceand lethargy) hinders the progress of person.
